Transferring photos over wifi and for free couldn’t be easier with this free app.

You start it up and just input the IP address in your browser and you can browse the photos from your iPhone on your iPad or Mac using a web browser.

This looks great, just what I need to have my apple devices on my desk, sadly only a prototype by Andrew Kim. Hopefully someone will pick this up and make it.

I’m not putting them in any particular order just as they come out as I type.

	Twitter fon – I have tried numerous other Twitter apps for the iPhone but this is still the best I have found to use.
	Yammer – twitter like app for internal company use, love this works great to keep upto date with all our projects.
	Google App – even though Safari has Google built in, this really makes searching quick and easy.
	Evernote – if your not using this on your computer then you really should, using this solely as a way in which to tag and save bookmarks, documents, ideas etc. Using the iPhone app gives you access to all your documents, and you can create and save them straight from you iPhone to your synced version online, marvelous.
	Google Reader – if you use the RSS reader online then this works (if smaller in screen size) just as it does online.
	WordPress – For producing posts on the go, need I say anymore.
	Twitter Trends – just started with this one, but an interesting time waster if nothing else.
	My Rail Lite – this works a treat even on my non-3G iPhone, can find which station is nearest you and give you up to the minute train times and more. Also try the UK Trains app.
	Flixster Movies – again location based tool finds the nearest cinema and gives you show times and links to videos and info fof the films.
	Around Me – again location based app, which seems to work ok. Works well in London not so well where I’am but that might have something to do with 3G and GPS working much better. Will find bars, banks, petrol stations and supermarkets amongst things, very handy if your out and about!

As I have just got back, I see Apple have a new 3G iPhone coming and more importantly for me they have finally made .mac useful again, or should I say ‘mobileme’. It looks like the iPhone and mobileme will be a great combination!

I love my iPhone and I like everything it does, I just wish they was more I could make it do. Well you can but only with a jail broken iPhone. So when I read this article the for and against doing it seem far less.

Here in the UK the iPhone is not only expensive to buy the device but the service plan you get with it is also expensive. I’m not to concerned with the actual price of the product as I would happily pay that for it, what I don’t want is an inferior call plan and agreement that is so different from every other mobile phone contract! I don’t want and will never sign up to an 18 Month contract, why should I. It’s obvious the deal o2 have with Apple is taking a nice slice out of my monthly payment, that’s why 18 months works out as a nice little earner for Apple.

What I want is a monthly contract (1 year max) that starts from £25, if o2 did that I’d but one tomorrow, actually I imagine my whole company would, so that that works out at around 8.5K just for the phones. I can’t be alone in thinking this as that’s why the slow take up of the device in the UK. Either o2 or Apple have to change this come June when the newer phone will be released, and here’s hoping for a 3G device as edge in the UK is so slow, and if you live outside of London pretty useless.
