I’m always forgetting how to turn my AAC files into MP3′s, so here is a quick guide mainly for me so I don’t have to keep searching for the solution.

1. in iTunes go to preferences/General/Import Settings

2. change import using to MP3

3. go back to your music file and select from the menu Advanced “Convert to MP3″

4. go back and change that setting to AAC after you have finished.
