FolderShare

FolderShare a windows live product which can be used for Mac’s and PC’s and to share and sync files between them. I have been using foldershare for a while now, and when I logged in today I see they have updated the look and feel of the online access point.

There are many sync products out there and a few in private beta which I’m using too, but as this is free and working I have begun to test this one out. With the new interface it’s much easier to use, as before I could only get one share to work, and the default one at that. But now it seems they have fixed my problem and I was able to set up many shared libraries.

I have a set on folders on my MacBook Pro set up that I drag items to that I have been working on, and then there automatically updated on my iMac at home.

If your looking at syncing docs for instance this is a great product for that, but it also has one other trick up it’s sleeve that’s a huge timesaver for me. I can browse my home computer when out, which means I never have to worry that I have forgotten that file or latest version of that file. Not so good if you have forgotten a large file, but smaller ones seem to work best.
