A very handy app from Charcoal Design, a colour picker. You can use the app on any web page or any image to find out the Hex values for it, then just drop those values into your CSS. It’s also free!
Pogue’s post on the NY Times website is an interesting one, but I still say I like the quickness of the new iMovie 08, although I will still be using the older version for more detailed movie editing. That is until I get my copy of final cut!

Well after receiving my copy friday morning I installed and started to use the programs. I have read on other blogs about the problems with iMovie and it not having all the ability’s of it’s previous version. I have found though that for importing movie clips and working on them it’s so much quicker to use.
iPhoto with it’s new ‘Events’ listing although not quite good enough for what I want, found it a great asset to hover over folders to see there contents, maybe they will add this to other apple apps?!
The first .Mac Web Gallery is now online to view, you can see the roll-over action of image folders. You can also view the short movies steve created in his webcast.

screen capture made easy
No hard-to-remember key combinations, no file conversion to deal with, no file dialog boxes to navigate, no temporary files to erase later on. Supports PNG and TIFF for times when image quality cannot be compromised. You can use JPEG with adjustable quality for smaller file sizes.

So an all new iMac from apple, now is the time to order that 24″!

And at last the new iLife suite of programs, not a huge amount of changes for me, but the iMovie is what I will most use from this, the quickness or accessing my clips and putting them together is a huge bonus!
I love the moo mini cards, great value and easy to order. Well now you can get the mini Moo stickers, high quality mini vinyl stickers.
If you use CSS Edit from mac rabbit then this is a must have tool. Similar to CSS Edits x-ray tool in the preview section, it lets you see all the CSS elements on a page by selecting areas straight in your browser window. Works with Safari, Firefox, Camino or moziila browsers!
